During my time in the UK, Purple Bricks was growing rapidly and exploring some fun creative. They became one of our retained clients - sending us data around search queries and FAQs during showings. We would take the data every few months and create campaigns to dispel common misconceptions. This particular series was aimed at common misconceptions around agents - with conversations between different “for sale” signs. I created the concept and wrote the scripts - initially I saw this as puppetry within a monochromatic studio, but the budget didn’t quite allow! Instead, we cobbled this together using a slim crew, a selection of the Smalls’ team’s own homes and some comedically terrible SFX. When the budget doesn’t allow, and you risk making something that looks inexpensive - make it look inexpensive on purpose!
